Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 lb ground pork sausage for every 6 people
2 eggs per person
Dash of salt and pepper
2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 jar of salsa, heat amount to your liking (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Brown the sausage at home and drain. Place in a zip lock storage bag if camping. In a Dutch oven put the sausage, eggs, salt, pepper and half the cheese. Cook over an open fire if camping, stirring to keep egg from burning to bottom of Dutch oven. When eggs are no longer runny, serve in half a pita pocket. Top with a sprinkling of cheese and a spoonful of salsa if desired. This can be made at home too.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This was a Girl Scout recipe from my leader days. My grandson in Boy Scouts make the same thing only they put it in flour tortillas and call it breakfast burritos. Many Saturdays I will make this on the stove.
