1 c butter
8 oz cream cheese
2 c flour
1/2 t baking powder
2 c fine walnuts
12 oz jar apricot jam
2 t sugar
1/3 c confectioners sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and cheese. Sift flour and baking powder add to creamed mix. chill 2 - 3 hours. oven 375 Mix nuts, jam, gran sugar. Divide into 4 parts. Refridge 3 parts. 1/4 ball dough, roll 1/16 inch thick. cut 2 inch squares. place on baking sheet. Put 1 tsp nut mix in center. top with another square. Press edges with a fork. Bake 15 - 20 minutes. Sprinkle with confectioners when cool.

Bonnie used to make tons of cookies at Christmas, and this was always my favorite. As a child I loved pinching the sides of the dough squares together with a fork. It's still a great memory, and the cookies were the best!--Jen
