Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1/2 red or white onion, diced
2-3 cans tomato sauce (plain w/no spices)
3-4 Italian sausage links (without casing) or 1 package Italian sausage
1 can chopped clams in can (drained)
1 can sliced black olives (drained)
2 tbsp. Mrs. Dash or another all-spice
1 tbsp. basil
1 tbsp. oregano
1 tbsp. parsley
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp sage
1 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
2 tbsp. red wine or balsamic vinegar
1-2 tsp sugar (optional)
2 cloves garlic
2 tsp olive oil

Directions:
Directions:
In saucepan, sauté olive oil and onions for 2-3 min on medium heat. Add sausage and brown until cooked through. Add tomato sauce and all of the spices. Do not add clams or olives yet. Bring sauce to boil over medium heat for at least 15-20 min, stirring occasionally. You can add more or less of each spice and sugar, depending on your preference in flavor. Add clams and olives in the last 5 min. You can place on simmer for as long as you want. If the sauce is too thick, you can add water to thin it out.
