3 egg whites
1 1/2 c. grated swiss cheese
1/4 tsp. salt
dash cayenne pepper
1 1/2 T. flour
ham, cooked and cubed

Directions:
Directions:
1. Beat egg whites until very stiff.
2. Fold in cheese, salt, cayenne, and flour.
3. Form cheese mixture into small balls, around a cube of ham.
4. Heat shortening in a fryer to 400 F.
5. Drop cheese balls in to hot shortening and fry 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
6. Serve using toothpicks.
