1/2 c shortening 3/4 c flour
1/2 c brown sugar 1/2 t baking soda
1/2 c white sugar 1/2 t salt
1 egg beaten 1.5 cups of rolled oats
1 T water 1 chocolate chips
1/2 t vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar: add egg, water and vanilla. Sift dry ing. and add to creamed mixture. Add oats adn chocolate chips. Drop on cookie sheet or spread on half of cookie sheet for bars. bake at 375ºF for 10 to 15 min.
