1 pkg yeast
¼ c water
1 c milk-scalded
2 T shortening
2 T sugar
1 t salt
1 egg beaten
3 ½ c flour

Directions:
Directions:
Soften yeast in lukewarm water. Combine milk, shortening, sugar, salt. Cool to lukewarm. Add softening yeast and egg. Gradually stir in flour to form soft dough. Beat vigorously; cover and let rise in warm place until doubles in size, about 2 hours. Divide in half and turn out lightly on floured surface. Spread with melted butter and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Cut into 12 rolls. Bake at 375º for 25 minutes.
