1/3 cup melted butter
3 cups mashed cooked sweet potatoes
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup milk

Topping:
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup self-rising flour
3 tablespoons melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 325ºF.

2. For the topping: in a bowl, combine the brown sugar, flour, butter, and stir together with a fork, set aside.

3. In a large bowl, mix together the sweet potatoes, sugar, eggs, butter, nutmeg, cinnamon, and vanilla. Then add milk, mix well. Spoon into a large greased casserole.

4. Spread the topping over the sweet potatoes. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until topping is golden brown.

One of Paula Deen's recipes. Family favorite! Instead of the praline topping, you can top with marshmallows after baking 25 minutes, but keep a close eye on them, because they tend to spill over the top! We've made some serious messes in the stove with melted marshmallows!
