1 cup flour 1 t melted fat or salad oil
1 t baking powder 1 c chopped veg.
1/2 t salt 1.2 c milk
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, baking powder, and slat. Beat egg, add salt and salad oil. Add to flour mixture. Beat smooth. Add vegetables. Drop by T into shallow fat or veg. oil heated to 375. Fry for 4 minutes or until brown on all sides. Drain on absorbent paper.

Use asparagus, carrots, cauliflower, corn, green beans, lima beans, mushrooms or peas.
