Cube about a pound of beef and/or pork, even a little liver (yuk). Put in a deep dish pan with a little water, not enough to cover add salt & pepper, bring to a boil cover and simmer until tender. In another pan saute a diced, medium onion in (lard?). I use pam or shortening of choice.
When transparent, add 2 tsp. of paprika adn water from meat. Let boil up a bit and add back to meat adn stem it about 15 min. Let stand 15-30 min. before serving.

Variation using Potatoes Only.
Cube potatoes and cook to tender, about 20 min., normal water. Make onion-paprika mixture same even with potato water. After you add onion mixture back to potatoes add a little milk back to make it pink & heat. Can serve directly
