3 eggs

2 cups sugar

1 1/2 cups salad oil

3 cups all purpose flour

1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon baking soda

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

3 cups chopped apples

TOPPING:

1 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup milk

1 stick butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix eggs, oil, and sugar. Blend well. Add flour, salt, and baking soda. Mix well. Add vanilla, apples, nuts. Pour into greased 8 or 9 inch tube or bundt pan. Bake at 350º for one hour. While cake is hot, pour hot topping over it in the pan.

Topping:

Combine all ingredients and cook for 2 1/2 minutes. Pour over HOT cake in pan. Let sit until cool. Remove from pan.
