3 - Cups Flour
1 1/2 - tsp baking soda
1 1/2 - tsp salt
1 1/2 - Cup Crisco butter flavored shortening
3/4 - Cup granulated sugar (add a couple tablespoons more)
2 - Cups brown sugar
1 1/2 - tsp vanilla extract
3 - extra large eggs
12 oz - semi-sweet chocolate chips
3 - Cups Old Fashion Oatmeal (about 3 cups, dough should be very stiff)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, baking soda, and salt and set aside.
Mix Crisco, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract until smooth. Beat in eggs, one at a time.
Mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients. Mix in 1 cup oatmeal. Add in chocolate chips and 2 cups oatmeal.
Bake at 375 degrees for about 9 to 10 minutes. Cookies should be a little bit underdone.
