1 20oz can of sliced beets
2 T butter
1/2 tsp salt
1 T lemon juice
1/3 C beet liquid
1/4 C sliced onion
1/4 C sugar
1/8 tsp pepper
Directions:
Directions:
Pour off liquid from beets and reserve. Sauté onions in butter until tender. Stir in sugar, salt, pepper, lemon juice 1/3 C liquid. Add beets and cook until beets are thoroughly heated, about 5 min, stirring occasionally.
