8 slices bread - cube bread (can remove crust)
2 - 8 oz pkg cream cheese - cubed
12 eggs
2 cups milk
1/3 c. maple syrup
cinnamon if desired
powdered sugar (if desired)

Directions:
Directions:
1. Place half of cubed bread in 9x13 pan.
2. Place cubed cream cheese on top of first layer of bread cubes.
3. Put remaining bread cubes on top of cream cheese.
4. Beat 12 eggs and combine 2 c. milk and 1/3 c. maple syrup.
5. Pour mixture over bread and cheese.
6. Sprinkle with cinnamon ( if desired)
7. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
8. Bake at 375º for 45 min.
9. Can sprinkle with powdered sugar.
10. Pour syrup on individual servings if desired.

This is our traditional Christmas breakfast. I popped it in the oven when I got up to turn on the tree lights and the Christmas music before Scott and Ben came down the stairs.
This was served with leftover ham, fruit, and juice.
I didn't put as much cream cheese on 1/2 of the dish for the boys portion.
