2 sticks Butter, room temperature
1/2 Cup Crisco
3 Cups Sugar
5 Eggs, room temperature
3 Cups Cake Flour sifted
1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
1 Cup Milk, room temperature
1 tsp. pure Lemon Extract
1 tsp. pure Vanilla Extract

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter, Crisco, and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg. In a separate bowl, mix baking powder with cake flour, then alternately add milk, extracts, and flour to egg mixture; beat well. Pour into greased & floured tube pan. Put in cold oven. Bake at 350º for 1 hour 15 minutes. DO NOT OPEN OVEN WHILE BAKING!
