1 c scalded milk
6 tbsp shortening or butter
6 tbsp sugar
5 c flour
1 c warm water
1 tbsp yeast
2 beaten eggs
pinch salt

Directions:
Directions:
Put yeast in H2O with 1/2 tsp sugar till 2 x in size. Mix shortening, cooled milk & sugar, add eggs. Add yeast mix then flour and mix until all flour gone. Divide in 2. Spread to rectangle on greased board with greased hands. Spread on margarine, sugar and cinnamon. Roll & cut into about 1/2 in thicknesses rounds. makes 2 round cake pans.full (grease)
let rise 1.5 hours.
If wanting to make 2 loaves bread or plain buns decrease sugar to 4 tbsp.

Bake 350ºF for 20-25 min. CO 300ºF for 15 min.
