1 c butter or margarine
1/2 c icing sugar
2 medium sized egg yolks
2 c cake flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp almond flavoring
2 or 3 pkg maple buds
Directions:
Directions:
Beat together butter and icing sugar until light, then beat in egg yolks. Add flour, salt and flavoring. Beat well. Butter cookie sheets and spoon little mounds of dough about 1" wide X 1" high and 2" apart. Press a maple bud on top of each cookie. Bake at 325ºF for 15 min. do not brown. Just tinge with gold.
