8 whole chicken breasts, split, boned and skinned.
½ cup flour
2 tsp curry powder
½ tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
½ tsp garlic powder or 1 clove chopped
½ cup butter
1 cup sliced onions
1 cup ketchup
1 cup water
¼ cup raisins
1 cup green pepper, chopped (optional)
½ cup toasted almonds.

Directions:

Combine flour, curry, salt, pepper and garlic in a plastic bag. Add chicken and shake to coat. Reserve remaining flour mixture. Melt butter and sauté chicken until just brown. Remove chicken. Sauté onions in remaining butter until transparent. Add 1 Tbsp reserved flour mix and stir to form paste. Add ketchup, water and raisins. Mix well. Return chicken to pan, cover and simmer 45 minutes. Add green pepper and cook another 10 minutes. Sprinkle with almonds and serve with rice and green salad. Can freeze.
