1 cup sugar
1/3 cup corn syrup
1 cup peanuts
1 Tbsp butter
½ tsp baking soda

or

1 cup sugar
½ cup corn syrup
½ cup water
1 cup peanuts
1 Tbsp butter
1 tsp baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Add sugar and corn syrup. Cook until firm ball -> 15-18 minutes. Bring to a rolling boil and add peanuts and baking soda until hard crack - long string. Pour into buttered pan and cool.
