Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 lb. Corn Oil Margarine (I always use salted butter instead - Peggy O)
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 egg yolks
1 Tbsp Vanilla or almond flavoring
4-5 c. cake flour
1/2 tsp salt

COOKING TIME: 10-12 min PREP TIME: 30 min

Cream margarine (butter) until smooth and fluffy.
Gradually add sugar and egg yolks.
Add vanilla or almond flavoring.
Add salt.
Sift flour, then measure and add (4-5 c.). Add enough flour to be sure the dough does not stick to your fingers when you pat the dough with your fingers.

Place mixture in cookie press. Make small, think cookies for crisp cookies.
You can color the dough with food coloring, but this does seem to change the texture of the cookies slightly.

Cook on a greased cookie sheet for 10-12 minutes at 325º.

NOTES:
1) Don't use a cuisinart to mix the dough, even though it is a thick dough. Mix by hand for best results.
2) When using butter instead of margarine, check cookies for doneness (lightly browned around the edges) and adjust cooking times as needed.
