Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 cups flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. sugar (brown or granulated)
1/2 cup butter, softened
12 peach halves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup brown OR granulated sugar (I use 1/cup brown and 1/2 cup granulated granulated)
2 egg yolks or 2 whole eggs
1 cup heavy cream or sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and 6 tbsp. sugar (I use brown). Cut the butter into the dry ingredients with a fork or pastry cutter to yield coarse crumbs. Lightly press into the bottom of a pan (I use a 9 1/2x11 inch pan). Arrange peach halves, cut side down, over top to cover. Mix cinnamon and 1 cup sugar together (I like to use half brown and half white sugar) and sprinkle over peaches. Bake at 400º for 15 minutes. For the topping, I mix whole eggs and sour cream, but good either way. Remove from oven and pour topping over peaches. Return to oven, reduce heat to 375º and bake an additional 40 minutes. Cool then cut in squares.

**I asterisked this because I so absolutely love this recipe. Best ever when peaches are in season. Make sure you use ripe peaches...could eat this breakfast, lunch, dinner.
