2 c soft butter
8 oz soft cream cheese
2 c sugar
2 egg yolks
1 t vanilla
4 1/2 c flour

Directions:
Directions:
Beat the butter and cream cheese until light, then beat in the sugar and eggs until fluffy. Add vanilla, then the flour.

Form 2 discs of dough and chill at least 2 hours. Roll out fairly thick (1/4”) and bake at 350º just until set, NOT brown, about 10 minutes.

Frost with your favorite buttercream frosting.

Makes a thick, soft, dense cookie. Not for you if you like crisp cutouts. This is a different cookie, very rich and melts in your mouth.
