2 medium red onions
1/2 cup soft bread crumbs
3/4 tsp salt free seasoning blend
1/2 tsp pepper
dash nutmeg
1# lean ground beef
1 tsp cornstarch
1 tsp beef boulion granules
1/2 cup cold water
2 tsp butter
1.5 cup sliced fresh mushrooms

thinly slice 1 1/2 onion, finely chop the other 1/2

in large bowl, toss breadcrumbs with chopped onion and seasonings
add beef, mix lightly, shape into four oval patties

place a large skillet coated with cooking spray over medium heat, add patties cook 5-6 minutes per side, remove from pan, discard drippings

in small pan mix cornstarch, bouillion and water til smooth

in same skillet heat the butter over med heat, add mushrooms and sliced onions cook and stir 5-7 minutes

stir in cornstarch mixture, bring to a boil, stir 1-2 minutes

return Salisbury steaks to pan, turning to coat, heat through
