2 1/4 C flour
1 t baking soda
1 T ginger
1 t cinnamon
Stir the dry ingredients together.
3/4 C shortening or butter
1 C sugar
Cream these together.
1 egg
1/4 C molasses

Directions:
Directions:
Add the egg and molasses to the sugar mixture, then incorporate the dry ingredients
and mix together for a stiff dough.

Chill for at least an hour.

Form into marble-sized balls, roll them in sugar, then flatten slightly. Bake at 350
degrees for 12-15 minutes. Under bake, do not over bake!
