250 grams (8.5 oz) unsalted butter
125 grams (4.5 oz) sugar
125 grams (4.5 oz) ground almonds
3 egg yolks

Knead ingredients into dough ball and refrigerate for 1 hour, then form crescent shapes
and bake at 350F to 375F on greased cookie sheet until golden brown. After taking out of
oven, roll in “vanilla sugar” (available in Wegmans’ baking section)

You can make your own vanilla sugar by burying a fresh vanilla pod in a container of super fine granulated sugar. Don't measure the ingredients, use the scale for accuracy.
