1 lb. ground round
Salt & pepper
Dash of chile powder over meat
2 celery stocks, chopped fine
1 large green pepper, chopped fine
2 large onions, chopped medium
6 cloves of garlic, whole and peeled*
Small can of mushrooms
1 - 6 oz. can of tomato paste
1 - 6 oz. can of tomato sauce & 3 & 1/2 cans of water
3 tbsp. Wesson cooking oil
2 pinches oregano
1 pinch sweet basil
1 pinch majoram
1/2 pinch rosemary
2 pinches thyme

Directions:
Directions:
Simmer garlic and onions until they start getting brown (don't burn). Push to one side of the pan. Add ground round and cook, mixing in the onion and garlic. Put in tomato paste, tomato sauce and water. Add green pepper and celery and cook about 10 minutes. Add mushrooms and spices. Simmer for 5 hours, stirring every 15 minutes.

*Garlic will float during cooking - smash against side of pan.
