Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 eggs (beaten)
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 quart whole milk
1/2 pint whipping cream (whipped first)
nutmeg

(By the way, if you're nervous about using raw eggs, a lot of stores now sell pasteurized eggs)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine 1 can sweetened condensed milk, 2 eggs (beaten), 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp vanilla; then add & mix in 1 quart whole milk. Finally, mix in 1/2 pint whipping cream (whipped first, of course). Refrigerate. The cream will separate & rise to the top, so just before serving, use a mixer or whisk to "get er' back in there", ladle into glasses & then sprinkle the top with nutmeg. (By the way, if you're nervous about using raw eggs, a lot of stores now sell pasteurized eggs)
