3 T. butter
1 can pineapple rings - drained (reserve 1/2 cup syrup)
Maraschino Cherries

Yellow Cake mix (prepare according to box directions)

Directions:
Melt butter in 9" round cake pan, or spring pan. Press brown sugar into melted butter. Lay pineapple in bottom of pan and place a cherry in the center of each one.

Pour cake batter into pan and bake at 350º for 40 - 45 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes. Invert on a plate and serve warm.
