1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, softened
1 (18 ounce) jars chunky peanut butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
6 cups quick-cooking oats, uncooked
2 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate morsels

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter and peanut butter at medium speed with an electric mixer until fluffy; gradually add sugar and brown sugar, beating well.
Add eggs and vanilla; mixing well.
Combine oats and baking soda; add to butter mixture, mixing well.
Stir in morsels; drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 350° degrees for 9-10 minutes.
Cool on cookie sheets 5 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
