3 lb beef tenderloin medallions
2 large yellow onions, sliced
2 large shallots
2 Tbsp chopped garlic

1 c red wine
½ c ketchup
½ c A-1 sauce
¼ c Worcestershire sauce
1 can French onion soup
2 c sour cream
3 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 can low-salt beef broth
Heavy whipping cream as needed to thin, if preferred


Directions:
Directions:
In a medium sauté pan, brown the beef in oil, but not cooked through. In a separate large sized pan, sauté the sliced onions, shallots, and garlic. Stir the rest of the ingredients into the pan.

Place all of the above in a crock pot and simmer for 3-4 hours on Medium. Serve on top of large egg noodles.
