1 package yeast
3/4 c. warm water
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
2 & 1/2 - 2 & 3/4 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add rest of ingredients, except flour. Stir until sugar and salt are dissolved. Stir in 1 c. of flour until smooth. Cover and let rise for 15 minutes, putting bowl in pan of boiling water on stove. Reduce heat to lowest heat setting. After removing from stove stir down dough with a wooden spoon rather than punching down. Add rest of flour. Knead 3 minutes. Dough will be sticky. Shape dough into round rolls and place into in well-greased 9 x 9 in. square pan. Let rise another 25 minutes. Bake at 425 º for 12 minutes. Makes 16 rolls.
