1/2 cup shortening
1 green pepper (finely cut)
1 onion (finely cut)
1 cup rice
1/2 button of garlic (finely cut)
6 cups rice
6 cups salted water
1 can tomatoes sauce
2 teaspoon mexan Chile powder

Directions:
Directions:
Place shortening in frying pan and in this fry until brown the pepper, onion and garlic cook rice in boiling salted water until tender then drain and add to the frying pan mixture.
Add tomato sauce and mexene; cover and let simmer 1 hr. if rice becomed too dry add a small amount hot water.
