6 slices of bacon strips diced
1 large onion diced
2 bottles of clam juice
2 cans chopped clams with juice reserved
1 can baby clams juice reserved
3 medium potatoes
3 tbsp flour
1 pint heavy cream
2 tbsp butter

Directions:
Directions:
In a large pot, cook bacon until crisp
Remove the bacon and cook onion in the bacon grease and season with salt and pepper.

Add flour, and stir
Add potatoes and clam juice just to cover the potatoes
Simmer till potatoes are tender
Add clams and simmer 2 to 3 minutes, then add cream
When it starts to simmer again, it's done

serve with warm bread and/or oyster crackers
May substitute claims for fish, scallops, lobster, oysters or corn
combine all seafood if you like for a Seafood chowder if desired
