2 Cups White sugar
1 3/4 cup flour
3/4 cup cocoa
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 cup oil
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
1. preheat oven to 350 ºF. Grease 2 9" round pans
2. In large bowl, mix together sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda,salt. add eggs, milk, oil,and vanilla and mix 2 minutes on medium speed. mix in boiling water last. batter will be thin. pour evenly into the pans.
3. Bake for 30-35 minutes. Then remove and let cool in pans for 10 minutes. then remove and place on wire racks till completely cooled before decorating.
