4 c. flour
2 T. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 T. baking powder
3 T. quick rising yeast

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all together, add water until bread gets sticky, kneed 10 times, let rest cover with plastic for 1/2 hr. cut off pieces and flatten on floured board flatten to about 3" round put into I" hot shortening in large pan. Brown lightly on both sides. serve with honey, jam or syrup, sprinkle on powdered sugar.
