1 & 1/2 c. sugar
1 package pectin (1.59 oz.) for freezer jam (see "Directions" below)
4 c. ripe fruit

Whisk together 1 & 1/2 c. sugar and "no cook freezer jam fruit pectin" in a bowl. In another bowl mash 4 c. raspberries (or blackberries or strawberries-hulled and quartered). Mash until fruit is chunky puree. Pour sugar and pectin into fruit and stir until very well combined. This will take 2 to 3 minutes. Ladle jam into four 8 oz. freezer jam jars (either glass or plastic), let stand until set, about 30 minutes, and freeze.
