½ c shortening
3 c mashed bananas
2 eggs
1 ½ c sugar
½ c sour milk
1 tsp vanilla
2 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt


Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs, then add the rest of ingredients.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes in a 9 x 13 pan. Cool, then spread frosting on cake.

Caramel Frosting:
Melt butter and add brown sugar. Do not boil. Add milk. Cool. Add vanilla and powdered sugar and mix.
Spread on cooled cake.
