3-4 overripe bananas 1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup sugar 1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cups flour 1 egg
1/4 cup melted butter 1/2 cup chopped nuts, if desired.

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º.
Grease 81/2 x 41/2 x 21/2 bread pan with butter.
Mash bananas with fork. Stir in all other ingredients.
Pour into pan and bake for 1 hour.
Cool in pan for 5 min. then cool on wire rack.
