4 pds chicken part (1 chicken)
1/3 c seasoned flour (salt&pepper) 1/3 c shortening
2 small or 1 large can tomato soup with equal amount of water
1 can sliced mushrooms halved 1/2 c chopped onion
1 T paprika 1 large bay leaf
1 c cream (sweet or sour)

Directions:
Directions:
Dust chicken with flour. Brown well in shortening.
Place chicken in large casserole dish or roast pan. Mix soup and water, mushrooms, onion, paprika & bay leaf. Pour over chicken cover and put in oven at 350 for an hour, until chicken is tender. Skimoff any fat that may have accumulated. Blend in cream. Heat and serve. Do not cook after adding cream.
Nice served with noodle or mashed potatoes
