Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 packages, 1/4 oz. each of unflavored gelatin
2 1/2 cups cold water, divided
2 cups milk
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups,(one pint) sour cream
4 packages of jello (3 oz. each): lime, orange, lemon, and cherry
4 cups boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
1. In small bowl, soften unflavored gelatin in 1/2 cup of the cold water and set aside.

2. In small saucepan, brink milk to a boil; remove from heat, add sugar immediately and stir to dissolve. Add sour cream, vanilla, and softened gelatin mixture to the hot milk and beat until smooth and creamy. Set aside but do not refrigerate.

3. In small bowl, dissolve the lime gelatin in one cup of the boiling water. Stir in 1/2 cup of the cold water and stir until gelatin is completely dissolved. Pour into the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch glass dish (clear). Refrigerate until set., about one hour. It is important that each layer is completely set before adding a layer. Also make dish level in refrigerator, so end result is not lopsided.

4. When lime jello is set, spoon over it 1/3 of the reserved milk/sour cream mixture about 1 1/2 cups. Tilt dish until layer mixes evenly. Refrigerate until white layer is set - 45 minutes.

5. Pour orange gelatin in another cup of boiling water; add 1/2 cup of cold water and stir till dissolved. Pour orange layer carefully over white layer and refrigerate about another hour. Repeat step #4, adding another white layer. Repeat step 5, adding lemon gelatin, then another white layer, etc. until you end with cherry gelatin on top. Take time for each layer to set, 45 - min. to an hour each time.

6. When all layers have been added, let chill in the refrigerator, covered at least four hours before cutting into squares for serving.
