1 large bag of cut up kale
1 large bag of baby spinach
1 bag of trimmed Brussel sprouts or cut up cabbage
2 pounds Linguica or Chourice - I usually make a large soup and put 2 lbs Linguica and 1 lb Chourice sausages
2 cans dark red kidney beans
2 cans spicy chili beans
1 can pinto beans
8 potatoes diced
3 Low sodium chicken broth

Optional: I sometimes add zucchini, pea pods, corn, broccoli, frozen meatballs too.

Rinse the greens thoroughly and put in large stock pan with water and broth. Add all the ingredients and let simmer for several hours. This is a very hearty soup. I make a large pan and then freeze into individual containers - makes for a quick lunch.
