Orange Cranberry Muffins Recipe

1 c. chopped fresh cranberries
2 tsp. orange rind, grated
2 T. sugar
2 c. flour
1/3 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. orange juice
1 egg slightly beaten

1/4 c. butter, melted
1/4 c. sugar

Combine cranberries, orange rind, and 2 tbsp of sugar in small bowl, set aside. Stir together all dry ingredients. Cut in 1/2 C. butter till crumbly. Stir in orange juice and egg until moistened. Gently stir in cranberries.
Bake at 400 for 20 - 25 minutes, until golden brown.
Dip top of each muffin into butter and sugar mixture.
