3 pounds medium-sized potatoes (about 9)
1 ½ cups dairy sour cream
¼ cup butter
1 egg – raw
3 – 5 heads crushed garlic (optional)
1 ½ tsp. salt
¼ tsp pepper
¼ cup dry bread crumbs
1 tbsp. butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Cook potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain thoroughly

Combine potatoes, sour cream, butter, egg, garlic (if using), salt and pepper in a large bowl

Beat at low speed with electric mixer until light and fluffy (note – I just use potato masher and whip with that)

Pile into buttered two-quart casserole and cover and refrigerate over-night

Bake, covered at 325 F for one hour.

Toss bread crumbs with one tbsp. melted butter & sprinkle over potatoes

Continue baking uncovered for 30 minutes
