Ingredients:
Ingredients:
3 quarts juice (Grape, cranberry, Hawaiian Punch – you choose)
2 c water
5 c sugar
½ tsp dry yeast dissolved in ¼ c warm water

Directions:
Directions:
Put all of this in a gallon jug. Blow up a strong balloon (10 cent size) and then deflate it and put it on the neck of the jug. Put tape and/or rubber band around it to hold it on. Let stand in a cool, dark place for 21 days. Balloon will inflate. Strain into bottles after the 21 days and cork only loosely, for 4 more weeks or so.

Then, when it is time: Pour a small amount into your best wine glass. Grasp the glass delicately by the stem, gently swirling the liquid as you hold it up to the light. Sniff and swirl several times, savoring the nose and bouquet of the vintage.

The finished product should suggest subtle overtones of “tutti frutti,” with a rather bracing finish. Take a big swig. Once you are satisfied that a harmonious marriage of flavors has been achieved, re-strain and seal tightly. Enjoy!

Personal Notes:
This sounds like the famous “Chateau Levesque” recipe used by Jim Bishop, Sr. A toast to Uncle Jim is called for here. who passed on in ---- e all miss him dearly.
