1/2 cup Butter, softened
1/2 cup White Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1/4 teaspoon Lemon Extract
1 Egg
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
1 1/2 cups All Purpose Flour

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Cream together butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in vanilla, lemon extract, and egg. In a separate bowl, combine baking powder with flour and add to the wet ingredients. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and roll or pat out to 1/2 - 1/8 inch thickness, adding a little more flour if the dough is too sticky. Cut with your favorite cookie cutters. Bake at 350º for about 8 minutes, or until just set and lightly golden on bottom.
