1 head Cabbage- shredded
1 stick Butter
Salt and Pepper- to taste
DUMPLINGS
2 lg Potatoes-grated
1 Egg
1/2--1 Cup Flour
Salt and Pepper to taste
Boiling Water

Directions:
Directions:





Fry cabbage in butter until cooked
Add to taste--Salt & Pepper
Set aside

Mix--potatoes, egg and 1/2 C flour.
Add more flour as needed until mixture is stiff enough to hold shape
Scoop a teaspoon of mixture into boiling water until all is in .
(Dip spoon into the water frequently to avoid sticking)
When the dumplings rise to the top of the water, cook a few minutes longer
Pour into a colendar and drain
Add to cabbage
