1 cup water
4 cups cubed cabbage - 1" cubes
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
2 cups unpeeled cubed 1/2" - tart red apples
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Directions:
Directions:
In a 2 quart saucepan, bring water to a full boil.

Add cabbage, cover and stir occasionally, cooking over medium heat until cabbage is 'crisply tender' - about 5-6 minutes.

Drain, stir in remaining ingredients except apples and parsley. Cover, cook over medium heat stirring occasionally until butter is melted (1-2 minutes).

Stir in apples, cover and continue to cook until apples are crisply tender (3-4 minutes) stirring occasionally.

Sprinkle with parsley.
