1 lg. or 2 sm. cabbage
3 qts. green tomatoes, sliced
1 qt. onions, sliced
6 lg. green peppers
3 Tbsp. salt
2 Tbsp. mustard seeds
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. ground mustard
2 1/2 c. vinegar
1 Tbsp. turmeric

Directions:
Directions:
Put tomatoes, onions, peppers and cabbage through the food chopper. Add to a large pot. Add salt, mustard seed, sugar, ground mustard, vinegar & turmeric. Stir. Boil for 25 minutes. Put in sterile jars while hot so they will seal.

8 BATCHES - INDIAN RELISH
6 gal. green tomatoes
2 gal. onions
21 green peppers (6 or 8 red peppers)
1 1/2 c. salt
1 c. mustard seed
6 lbs. sugar + 2 cups
1 cup ground mustard
1 gal. + 1 qt. vinegar
1/2 c. turmeric
3 large heads cabbage
