10 inch skillet
1 stick butter
1 cup brown sugar
2 roll out pie crust
4 lbs sliced apples (6 or 7)
3/4 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon (Optional - I do not use)
white sugar for topping

Spray Iron Skillet

Melt on medium heat in skillet:
1 stick butter
1 cup brown sugar

Lay 1 pie crust on top of butter & sugar in skillet (use roll out & bake pie crust)

Slice 4 lbs apples (6 or 7 apples) & put on top of crust

Sprinkle 3/4 cup white sugar on top of apples

Sprinkle 1 teaspoon cinnamon (Optional, I don’t use)

Top with 2nd pie crust (tuck edges in)

Sprinkle with white sugar

Put slits in top of crust

Bake 350 for 1 hour to 1 hour 10 mins until bubbly & golden brown

Cool 30 mins on wire rack
