6 eggs
1/2 lb. butter
1/2 pt. sour cream
3 cups cake flour
3 cups sugar
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 300.
2. Cream butter till fluffy.
3. Gradually add sugar one cup at a time. Beat until light and fluffy, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Add eggs one at a time.
6. Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
7. Add flour one cup at a time, alternating with our cream and vanilla. Begin and end with flour when alternating.
8. Beat on low just until blended.
9. Pour into a well greased and floured tube or bunt pan.
10. Bake at 300 for 1 hour 25 min or until cake tests done (clean knife or tester).
