1 ¾ C canned pumpkin
½ t salt
1 ¾ C milk
3 large eggs
2/3 C brown sugar
2 T sugar
1 ¼ t cinnamon
½ t ginger
½ t nutmeg
¼ t clove

Directions:
Directions:
Beat all ingredients together with an electric mixer. Pour into prepared 9” pie shell. Bake at 425° for 45-55 minutes, until knife inserted into side of filling comes out clean. The center may still look soft, but will set later.

Ma made this EVERY Thanksgiving morning, for Paw. It was his breakfast. Then she made another one for all of us to eat after the huge Turkey Dinner.
